Every school holidays my Dad would take me to visit the relatives in TeTeko.
To be honest, I struggled. I was this little blonde child from Christchurch and some of my relatives here gave me quite a hard time.
Despite all, these experiences have shaped the way I see the world and despite being blonde, and all the associated prejudices that come along with that, I feel lucky.
